Hello Everyone
I want to contribute to the question of today "What is the faith of the theif on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. According to the verse we have to work brethren and the work is the good works thy Lord ask us to do, u won't be saved if u don't do good works.
Your faith may be enough if u just gonna live a day or two, but if u living for more than a day u need to do good works.
We have to grow in Christ for we to do that we have to do the good works Jesus Christ did, Jesus is an example... the good works is what will qualify us for our salvation
Let's see Matt 25:34-40
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
According to the verse it was their good works that merited them their salvation to enter into God's kingdom...so our good works is very necessary.
Thanks
