Hello!
Want to contribute to the question of Today "what is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43 (part 7 of 7)
Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) verse 13 is saying not those who have faith because faith cometh by hearing...There are people who haven't heard the Lord they are ignorant of the Lord they have no faith because they haven't heard, but even if they have not heard the Lord the good things they are doing contained in the law is unto themselves and they are justified.
1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. It is not the hearer of the law that is justified..even though u hear it from Monday to Sunday but those that obey the law are justified, even without faith if they are doing the good works just as thy Lord said in Matt 25:34-37According to the verse thy Lord called them righteous because of their good works which are;
Feeding the hungry
Giving water to those that are thirsty
Taking in strangers....are good works thy Lord said
Even if u have faith and u don't do good works u will be disqualified from the inheritance of God as seen in Matt25:41-45. Because faith alone is not enough to give you salvation if you not the theif nailed on thy cross.
Thanks
