Hi Everyone
My name is Danny
Today is the 24th day of April, 2021
I'm here to share What I learnt from today's teaching: Why did John use 'Sprit' instead of 'Prophet' in 1John 1:3 (part 1 of 2)
A prophet is one who prophesy, speak or teach by divine inspiration or by the spirit of God not in flesh.
Corinthians 14:32 says, the spirit of the prophet are subject to the prophet. That is a prophet is being recognized by the spirit in him like prophet Amos he has the spirit of Vengeance for the Lord, even prophet Jeremiah, Malachi also have a different spirit of thy Lord
Any prophet that says that Jesus is a man does not have the spirit of God in him.
According to 1john 4:2, hereby know yet the spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus is come in the flesh is of God, verse3; and any spirit that confesseth not that Jesus is come in the flesh is not of God.
1john 4:1; Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirit whether they are of God; because many false prophets. According to that verse we can see there are many false prophets in the world we should test all prophet if they have the spirit of God in them. Because every prophet have a particular spirit in him
