We started today by saying that necessity is the mother of invention. Over time science has come to us with different technology and machines for man kind. We learnt about research, and research brings about discovery of new technology, medicine and even in software industries. It increases knowledge not only by scientist but even man.
In the bible, God talked about increase in knowledge, and we studied God’s word and studied on the wisdom he gave Solomon. The bible said that knowledge will increase over time. we learnt about research and explosion of knowledge according to the scriptures of God. Also we talked about, our position in deciding whether to change our religion especially when we are born into it. I learnt that God wants us to get out of what is against his doctrine.
Isiah 52:11 I learnt that God wants us to separate from sin, and be free from anything unclean. If we are born into a religion that is against the doctrine of God we are ought to depart from that sin. Also as true Christians we should never be associated with anything unclean like idol worshipping or bowing down to worship idols.
1 Corinthians 14:37 I also learnt that true prophets of God, would always share the commandments of God in the Bible. This is because the written scriptures of God is from God's own inspiration. Also we should be able to study the doctrines of God in order for us to know the truth about God's true commandments. Also in order for us not to go astray we should read the scriptures of God and find out the truth.
Lessons from today's mass indoctrination
Today I learnt the need for us to study the Bible, this is to enable us know the truth and abstain from anything unclean. God wants us to depart from sin, and desist from worshipping idols.
Today I also learnt that irrespective if the fact that we are born into a particular type if religion, we should learn to depart from any religious gathering against the doctrines of God. This is more reason we should know God's commandments in order for us to identify false prophets.
I also learnt that we as true Christians should learn to show love to our fellow brethren for this is one if the commandments if God. When we show love and give , God will always reward us handsomely. Finally God is also assuring us that if we seek or ask him for a favour he will always grant it, but we should desist from idol worshipping or anything unclean which will bring the wrath if God upon our lives.
