Summary of what I learnt from the teachings from brother Daniel on our MCGI CARES held on zoom.
An evil friend can corrupt good manners. Because if you are friends with an evil person there will be evil communications. And through that means you can be corrupted.
1 Corinthians 15:33 The Bible made it clear to us hear that we should not allow ourselves to be fooled. Bad friends can ruin or spoil a good character.
The principal in the Bible makes it clear to us that we should not withhold good when it is due. When see an opportunity or we are in position to do good we should take advantage of it and do it with gladness in our heart. Because that is the will of God, Christ always preached about doing good during his time on earth. Do good to your brothers and sisters, love your neighbour as you love yourself even your enemies. And as christains doing the will of God should be our number one priority as we acknowledge the power of the Lord and trust that we must do good to all men without discriminating. Because the Bible says we should do good to all men, it doesn't matter his background, his skin color or his origin we should do good to even our enemies how much more those we love and care about.
Ephesians 2:10 This scripture is telling us that God has shown us what we are, he has made it clear to us already. And In our uniting with our Lord Jesus Christ he has created us for a life of doing good. Which God has already prepared us to do.
We should be kind and good to our fellow men because that is the doctrine of Christ. We should show compassion to our fellow men no matter what other people will say. What other people will say should not be our guide because doing good is not what we should be ashamed of.
The Bible should be a guide of our daily life. We should stick to the Bible for guidance to live our life because the Bible is the best guide for our life as christains
