God doesn’t listen to idol worshippers 2 Corinthians 6:14
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"
2 Corinthians 6:15
"And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"
2 Corinthians 6:16
"And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
2 Corinthians 6:17
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
2 Corinthians 6:18
"And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
There is no communion between darkness and light, whenever there is light darkness fades away and whenever light fades there’s a covering of darkness.
There is no communion of righteousness with unrighteousness, there is no communion between Christ and Belial-an idol, there is no part of a believer with an infidel and there is no agreement between the temple of God with idols.
God receives you when you separate yourself from idols and idol worshippers. Habakkuk 2:18
"What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?"
Habakkuk 2:19
"Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach!
Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it".
There’s no breath at all in the midst of those idols, they are just laid with gold and silver to make them precious in the sight of man, it is the lust in the eyes of men that makes them precious because they are overlaid with silver and gold.
It is the only thing that makes them important—the silver and gold in them because it is highly priced among men. But those idols laid with silver and gold do not even have the capacity to listen. Psalm 115:4
"Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands".
Psalm 115:5
"They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not"
Psalm 115:6
"They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not"
Psalm 115:7
"They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat".
Psalm 115:8
"They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them."
How can your idol listen to your supplication and prayer? If your idol does not mind to listen to you, more so my God, because my God is the God of the Bible; He hates idol worshipping and He hates idols because that is abomination in the sight of God.
