Why Do People Die? MCGI Topic Review

in MCGI Cares Hive19 hours ago

It is natural to wonder why people die, a lot of people do. It is a question that rises up, especially when we loose people close to us, the pain of such a loss have made so many question their belief in God.

God appointed every man to die, so it is inevitable, none can escape it. He never said we wouldn't die, He even mentioned that judgement would come soon after. After death, we would face God's judgement, everyone of us.

Hebrews 9:27

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

People die early in life while some others die later. It really doesn't matter when, everyone would surely die, It is only one being who has immortality and that is God Almighty, 1Timothy 6:16;

It is He alone who has immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see; to him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

Why God choose some to die early and others to die later is what we can never quite understand, but we must trust that God is all knowing and that whatever He does is out of love. We might not be able to comprehend it all but let's just trust Him all the same.

So regardless of age, status, creed or race, all men must tow the path of mortality. Adam and Eve brought death and decay into our world, death therefore is a part of humanity.

Romans 5:12 makes us to understand why death is inevitable for every man.

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned-

The issue of sin crops up everytime we mention death or suffering because sin is the reason why we are in such a state. In times of emotional turmoil from loss of someone beloved, we need to hang on to the truth that keeps us anchored.

We must also understand that death is not the end but actually the beginning of eternity, it is only after death that we gain immortality.

Rev 21:4

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

All men Will surely fade away like the flowers of the field.

That is it exactly.

The Truth that keeps us anchored is what the bible tells us about eternity.

Yes that's true.

Yes! Death is inevitable but it is best to die on earth and have eternal life.

That's just it.

my pastor would always say this that death is not the worst thing that would happen to a believer, because eternity is assured.

Your pastor is so right.

Thankyou very much for that
