Why do people die? (Part 2)

in MCGI Cares Hive12 days ago

Death does not mean evil to those who serve God, our death tells us something very important and what is that very important thing that our death teaches us; that is that there will be judgment, we will face judgment. As we face death inevitably, we inevitably also will face the judgment seat of God come the day of judgment.

Acts 17:31-
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

God has appointed the day in which he will judge the whole world in righteousness. The death of the Lord Jesus Christ teaches us something, but His resurrection from the dead teaches us another thing and what are those things that He taught us when He resurrected from the dead, that we will inevitably die also and we will inevitably also be resurrected and face judgment.

God is telling us something that we cannot deny or escape from that exalts God and that proves to us the existence of God.

Ecclesiastes 8:8-
There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

We are all going to be helpless when the appointed day comes, so death is something that teaches us that there is somebody that exists who owns our lives
