Bro. Eli has stated categorically that polygamy is not allowed by God, and it's obvious because the world has no good story to tell on polygamy. Polygamy is truly the root of formication.

David was punished for polygamy as noted by Bro. Eli, as found in 2Samuel 12:14,18 where the child died, in addition to other attracted repercussions.

Also, Solomon did not please God through polygamy, rather God was angry with him.

We can even see that the world is suffering from the polygamy of Abraham which led to Ishmael and Islam which is a breeding ground for fanatism and violence in the world today.

Well, the bottomline is as the Man of God said, "God prescribes, but you decide."
