Greetings MCGI. Today, I bring to you the excerpts of the Mass Indoctrination. Let's dive right into some of the things we discussed.

One of the things God kicks against in prayers is the act of making vain repetitions, according to the book of Matthew 6:7. Some people make the mistake of praying to God in this manner. We should not turn prayers into a recitation. We should speak to God from the heart. This is because God looks at the heart when we make prayers unto Him.

Our purpose on earth is not completely fulfilled if we do every other thing else but fail to be doers of good works. In Luke 6:35 we are encouraged to continue in doing good to all men; both friends and foes alike. If we do bad to anyone for whatever reason, we don't represent the person of Christ, because God never wished bad for anyone, even those who hated Him when He was on earth.

By doing good works, we are declaring the nature of Christ before men. By so doing, we are giving people around us a reason to believe in reality of Christ which we proclaim to them, Matthew 5:16 sheds more light on this.

In the church, there are certain responsibilities that are scattered across to certain sections. Someone may be gifted in one area whereas another is not gifted in that area but in another area. The endpoint and endpoint of this is to come in unison and use our respective areas of strength to further better the church, further explanation about this is contained in 1 Corinthians 14:26.

Being a Christian means exhibiting the nature of Christ. When we call ourselves Christians, it simply means that our nature is not the same with those in the world. An important thing someone should know is his identity. So what then is that identity of we Christians?
Genesis 1:26 made us know that our true identity is has to the with the likeness of God because we are created in His image.
