It is risky to live our lives without God's guidance that is why it is important for us to seek God. Many people live their lives amiss because they have refused to seek God in their lives and have neglected His ordinances. When people derail from the path of God it is to their own detriment.
Ephesians 2:12 - That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 - But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
We are privileged to be reconciled with God because their was a time mankind were in enmity with Him. But through His son Christ Jesus we were given hope. We need to know Christ for ourselves and how we do it is by accepting Him first. By doing so, we are recognized by God in Heaven. Here is what happens when we accept Christ to have His way in our lives:
Ezekiel 36:26 - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
It is our nature as humans to have stony hearts. People with stony hearts resists the word of God. That was the case of many of us untill we allowed God to deal with our hearts and made it receptive towards His word. The word of God is what Jesus brought to us so that we might know how to live our lives in accordance to God's will.
