Happy weekend everyone. It is another great day as we delve into the word of God being thought in the Indoctrination series. I was highly blessed with today's teaching being delivered unto us by our beloved Brother Eli. One of the things we pray for is favor.
In our place of work, in our place of study, and other areas of our life we all desire to be favoured. As men, favour can also be acquired by the reason of marriage.
Proverbs 18:22 - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
Having the right woman in a man's life can attract favor his way. Their are specific qualities that make one a wife and when a man marries such person it can open the doors of favour in a man's life. Having the right partner can propel us into the right direction of our destiny. Though it may not be mandatory but there is a kind of dimension that opens up to a man when he finds a good wife
Ephesians 5:33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
God broke it down to the simplest form of how a man and his wife are expected to behave towards each other. A man that doesn't love his wife is defaulting in his duties as a husband, likewise a woman who doesn't reverence or submit to her husband. For a peaceful home and one that God is pleased with, there needs to be cooperation and understanding between the husband and the wife.
