Happy weekend everyone. It is another great day as we delve into the word of God being thought in the Indoctrination series. I was highly blessed with today's teaching being delivered unto us by our beloved Brother Eli. Favour is one thing that all of us desire and hope to see in our lives as often as possible. Favour do come to people by various means. As men, favour can also be acquired by the reason of marriage.
Proverbs 18:22 - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
A kind of transformation can be realized when one marries. A wife, a virtuous woman, comes along with good things and favour from God. God knew the importance of companionship and that's why He didn't leave Adam all alone by himself but made Adam a woman as a help meet for him and Adam was glad when God had done this.
Ephesians 5:33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
As a married man, it is your obligation to love your wife. When a man loves his wife it is easy for her to reverence and submit to her husband, which it is her own duty and role to play in marriage. A home which obeys to these instructions enjoy peace and harmony in their home. Many homes are disorganized because of failure to adhere to these instructions. A couple should live their lives in accordance to God's purpose for them.
