Scriptures: Isaiah 44:14–18, 1 Peter 4:3, Romans 1:25, 1 Corinthians 8:7, Revelations 22:8–9, Acts 1:13, John 1:1

When Jesus was about living the earth He promised His disciples of leaving with them the Holy Spirit behind. It is unwise to go about our daily lives without acknowledging the Holy Spirit. What makes it even worse is when we sin against the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a personality that we should take seriously.

The Holy Spirit is what is present with us in this present dispensation. Jesus knew that after He left the earth He had to live us with something that will take His place and that is the Holy spirit. Jesus along with His father and the Holy Spirit were in coexistence even before the world began.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

What this scripture meant when it said "the Word" it actually was referring to a person and that person is Christ Jesus. It says the word was with God, that means Jesus was with God His father right from time. The scripture below helps make it clearer for us that indeed the Word was Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19:13 - And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Jesus was is the Word. When He descended down on earth He was made flesh in order to function in this earthly realm. Any doctrine we hear of that counters that which proceeded from the mouth of Jesus is false.
