We continue in the Indoctrination program being hosted by brother Eli Soriano and brother Daniel Razon. We deeds matter a lot to God. We don't live our lives carelessly, disregarding the word of God. From the days of old God laid out the right path we should follow as His people. Refusal to abide by it is an act of rebellion.
There are certain things that are really distasteful in the eyes of God.
Proverbs 20.20 - Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
It is an abomination for a child to curse his parents. Among God's ten commandments, one of them stated that we honor our parents so that our lives on earth may be long. It is the only commandment that comes with a reward. But when you do contrary to this, there's a repercussion waiting for you.
Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in.
As Believers, our lights are meant to shine and not to dim. But we put our lights at risk of being put off when we default on the word of God, just as stated in the previous passage. In everything we do, we should make sure that it be seen as good works unto God.
