Trials must surely come. Many people view trials to be an unfair experience. There is no doubt that times of trials can be quite frustrating. But there are certain things that are at work in the background when such times come up.
Romans 5:3 - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 - And patience, experience; and experience, hope
If there one thing you learn unconsciously during trials is patience. When you find yourself in a certain situation or phase in life that you just can what to get over with, but at the same time you just can't do anything about it, the only option you are left with at that point in time is to wait.
It may seem like a waste of time, but God knows why He is letting such attribute to be instilled in you. Patience is actually one of the fruits of the spirit, we learn this in Galatians 5:21.
All the fruits of the spirit are important in the life of a Christian. You may be deprived of somethings from God if you lack patience.
I often ask myself this question; "If life was completely rosy for me, would I seek for God?"
Truthfully I answer; "I'm not sure I would".
So I always thank God for trials when they come because it draws me closer to Him as I seek for His strength to overcome.
