The Beauty of His Holiness| The Old Path

Bible reference: Romans 12:2-2

Worshipping God in the beauty of holiness is the purest way of worship we can offer to Him. Our worship to God is a spiritual activity. Those that worship God ought to be holy because He is holy.

Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

What does it mean to be holy? Holiness means consecration. Consecration simply means setting apart or separation. And as Christians, what we separate ourselves from in order to be holy is the world. Paul admonishes us in the above scripture not to confirm with the world.

This simply means that we should not mix ourselves up with the world and their patterns. Though we are in the old, we should not live our lives on the manner which the world operates. The patterns of the world is corruptive and it can hinder us from attaining holiness.

God seeks a worship that is presented out of holiness. There is indeed beauty in offering worship which is offered up from someone that keeps his way holy unto God. Such manner of worship is acceptable to God
