Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
I welcome you all to another beautiful weekend. Today's teaching is focused on the doctrine of baptism. It is expected that a believer who identifies with Christ be baptized. There's a spiritual transfiguration that takes place when we get ourselves baptized. The scripture above tells us of how Jesus commanded His disciples to baptize people, this shows the relevance involved in it.
Anywhere the disciples of Jesus went to preach the gospel and got people saved it was expected of them that baptizing the people is what should be done next. Receiving the word of God is essential to give you knowledge first. You first of all know the person of Christ before you carryout the doctrine of baptism.
1 Corinthians 12.13 - For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
According to brother Eli, the mass indoctrination program will not be complete if people aren't equally brought to the knowledge of baptism. It is among the doctrines of Christ that Christians should abide by. It is important that as the body of Christ, each member gets themselves baptized
Baptism is a clear directive of Christ unto believers.
