We were created to worship God. We are his creatures. We are His offspring. We are the sheep of His pasture. We are the children of God.
We do not belong to idols. Idols are man-made gods. They're the works of their own hands. They design their gods in the way they want them to be. We are of God. We belong to God. We are the offspring of God. So, we are the worshippers of God.
How would you be a worshiper of what you bought with your money? Why is it that someone have to make a god for you? Why would you stoop so low to worship a lifeless object?
Worshiping an idol is demeaning. It is degrading to leave your Creator and bow your head for an idol.
God will not listen to idol worshippers. He does not share his glory with anyone. He does not share his glory with any of His creatures. When you worship an idol, you are worshiping the creature instead of the Creator.
