Do we all serve the same God?

Hello lovelies,

I feel happy to be part of this wonderful family.
My name is Victory, from Edo state, Nigeria.
I got to learn about Hive, especially, MCGI community through a WhatsApp Group during a training session with Sis Ela.

I want to quickly share a little knowledge on the topic, DO WE ALL SERVE THE SAME GOD?

The concept of God is one that has been debated and discussed for centuries. Many people believe in the existence of a higher power, but the ways in which people view and worship this power can vary greatly. Some argue that we all serve the same God, while others maintain that our understanding of God is unique to our individual experiences and beliefs.

Religion plays a significant role in shaping our beliefs about God. Different religions have different beliefs about the nature of God, the purpose of life, and the afterlife. For example, Hindus believe in many gods and goddesses, each with their own unique characteristics and attributes. Muslims believe in one God, Allah, and follow the teachings of the prophet Muhammad. Christians also believe in one God, but worship Jesus Christ as the Son of God and savior of humanity.

Even within a single religion, there can be different interpretations of God's nature and teachings. This is evident in the many different denominations of Christianity, each with their own unique beliefs and practices. For example, Catholics and Protestants have different views on the role of the pope, the importance of sacraments, and the interpretation of scripture.

Beyond religion, our personal experiences and cultural backgrounds can also shape our understanding of God. People who have experienced great suffering may view God as a source of comfort and hope, while others may view God as an abstract concept without a personal relationship.

While it is true that many religions share common values and beliefs, it is important to recognize that we do not all serve the same God. Our understanding of God is shaped by our personal experiences, cultural backgrounds, and religious beliefs. It is important to respect and appreciate these differences, even as we strive to find common ground and build bridges between different communities.

BUT WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?

According to the Old Path, we do not all serve the same God. Many only called themselves Christians, but deny God by their works.

Christians are the true disciples of Jesus Christ. They behave like Christ and do the will of God. They carry out the commandments of God.
But sadly, many only claim to be Christians on their lips. They've ignored the virtues Christ left for is, which is to love one another.
It is by loving ones another that men will know that we're true Christians. Christians are those who do good to fellowmen.

According to Matthew 28:19, true Christians are those who observe all the commandments of God.
A true Christian those not practice idolatry, according to Acts 17:29.

No all of us serve the same God, many are ignorantly serving false gods. Galatians 4:8, says that when we know not God, we served those who by nature are no gods.
So not all men serve the same God.

Thank you.
