During today's indoctrination section with Brother Eli, he made emphasis on the need for brotherly love to be among us all. I believe this is the foundation of every peaceful coexistence between individuals or groups of people. No matter what you do, if it is not backed by love then it’s a waste of energy. For the Holy Bible makes us understand that, we should love one another. We should love our neighbor as our own selves. We should even do good to our enemies. For anyone to be able to give then there must be love within that person. This was clearly demonstrated by God Himself. This can be seen in the book of John 3:16. I quote ; For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believed in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. This means that, because God loved us so much, He was able to offer His only begotten son as a sacrificial lamb to come and die for us so we can be saved from all sin. It was the love God has that is why he was able to do that. Hence nobody can give freely without him or her having love within him. We need to develop that brotherly love in order to offer anything good to our brethren.
John 3:16
- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
After this love is developed in us, we can now manifest the goodness of God to our fellow brothers and sisters. We can then also spread the good news. We can then show them the way. And bring them to Christ. If we develop love, we will not be happy to see our loved ones go to hell, hence we will take it upon ourselves to spread the goodness. We will try and win souls for Christ Jesus. After we have received the free gift of salvation, it is now up to us to also share that free gift with the world. That free gift is Christ Jesus. We are to spread the good news with others so they can also receive the free gift. For the word says “He that winners’ soul is wise”. It is a very wise decision to take. In fact, one of the best decisions that a believer could over make in his or her life. It is an act of maturity and a widened horizon in Christ Jesus. This means Brother Eli and his team are very wise people. They are spreading the gospel across the continent. From the East to the west and at a very fast pace. They happen to be the very church to emerge from the East to do the work of God in such a strong pace. They are doing very well. I am super impressed with the impact mcgicares are making across the world. They impact what they are making in the lives of the less privileged.
Spreading the Good News at the same time providing for the needy in the society. That is one great work done by mcgicares. It is a very great initiative that is transforming the lives of many. It can only take the manifestations of God’s love in a person to do all these. The need to have the brotherly love is very necessary. Let us love one another as the commandment has enquired us too.
