Of the many projects that tanked over 90% in the last couple of years, some have continued development and retained an enthusiastic user base. If Zilliqa fell off your radar, chances are they made their presence known once more today, with their new "Social Pay" pilot campaign.
Twitter is buzzing with #Zilliqa posts today since the announcement of Social Pay, an intriguing new marketing paradigm which allows Twitter users to earn rewards by tweeting with designated hashtags. At the moment, you can earn Zilliqa when you tweet using the hashtag #Zilliqa, but of course, the system could be used to promote any hashtag and commercial campaign, even charity campaigns. Why not?!
You'll need a Zilliqa wallet address to get started. Exchange addresses are not supported. I recommend Atomic Wallet, but there's a number of Zilliqa compatible wallets available.
Once you have your wallet address, you just need to connect your Twitter at Zillaqa's Social Pay site. Once connected, it's just a matter of tweeting with the assigned hashtag. You can tweet directly from your Social Pay account page, or tweet from your usual Twitter page or client. If you recieve enough likes, you can claim rewards.
The scheme is just on trial at the moment, but it will be interesting to see where this goes in the future, and something tells me it won't be long before other crypto projects try out similar ideas.
Give it a try yourself. If you have a sizable following, there could be some decent rewards coming your way!
