Holi- The festival of Colors and Dope !

10th March, my first Holi after marriage with one new addition in our family- My spouse.

It was indeed an insane experience. To those of you who don’t know Holi. It’s a popular Indian festival, also know as "festival of spring", or the "festival of colors". It’s one of the most fun filled, energetic, and boisterous Hindu festival where people smear each other with colors and drench each other in colored water through water guns and water-filled balloons.

Sounds fun ? Well Yeah ! What if I tell you this is also the festival in which there is unlimited supply of customary drink “bhang” made of Cannabis. Don’t believe it. Well it’s true. To top it all, the whole family, neighborhood drinks this together, gets intoxicated and enjoys the madness of this festival.

And Thats the Potent Cannabis Drink ! The base is a Drink called Thandai. Its rich and made from Dry Fruit extracts. Then lace it with Alcohol ( Vodka) or Cannabis or Both ! Depends on how much madness you desire ;)

Well, we pretty much did that at our home. The effect was insane. I went into deep slumber for good 4 hours. I think it wasn’t just the bhang but the glutenous feast we had that day.

Normally on Holi, there are huge gatherings and entire neighborhood, friend and family get together to celebrate it in open park. However, this time around due to Corona pandemic it was cancelled.

But guess what, it couldn’t dampen the spirit of the Kids. My sister and her 2 kids gave us a surprise visit. Well what can you expect when 2 naughty kids are around. Well, the big Holi slash.
