I would like to share about what ascension is and how it relates to why are we here in this physical body? What is our purpose in life? Why were we born into this body? If we are reborn time and time again then what is the meaning and goal of this great game of life? Are we all destined to reach the same place.. eventually.. or are there many destinations along our epic cosmic journey? We all have one thing in common, free will and the freedom to choose not only how we act, feel, and live, but also how we re-act to the many challenges and tests that life brings. It is fair to say that we are all tested in each and every moment, and we all make hundreds if not thousands of choices every day. For some people these are conscious choices that we give thought to with great mindfulness. For others they are simply the same actions and learned responses that we are used to making. What do you do when you wake up? Is life just a routine, or is every day and every moment an opportunity for change and self improvement? We are all blessed with our lives, and life itself is a great gift that is all too easy to take for granted. It is a miracle that each and every day we wake up, and we breathe, our hearts beat, and our body gives us the opportunity to be here in this physical world.
It is my belief that life itself is a path. The path of life spans many aeon's of birth and rebirth and we are here to evolve, to become more and better then we were yesterday. Life itself is a divine opportunity for us to know ourselves and discover who we really are. We are all at very different stage in our evoLution, and the ultimate goal for us as beings of light is to ascend ever closer to our source, to discover our true nature. Life gives us every opportunity to do this through Karma, and by living through our Karma and reacting to it. As we do this, we have the chance to ascend.
What is Ascension? This is a question that I have answered quite some time ago in a dialog with Drunvalo Melchizedek, and I would like to repeat it here in this post as the very last part of this quite special series I have been writing called "THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT". I had never finished this series that I started many months ago on Steemit, and so today I am happy to end this very deep nine part series today with a post that perhaps eludes to the meaning of life, the universe and everything!
How do I define Ascension?
I define ascension as the movement of soul/spirit through to a higher vibration. To do this a being must refine itself so that its' vibration can raise up without disharmony, which simply pulls our vibration back down to where we are. This refinement is a multifaceted process that involves every thought and emotion that we live and react to. In short it is the learning that we impart from our lives experiences. The choices we make as we react to our Karma.
This movement takes a soul closer to the purity of highest truth that is The One, or God. There are almost infinite ascension levels for any soul or being. This movement is the purpose of our great journey, and looks something like a step by step refinement and purification process. It is also the only real choice that we have. There is no where else for a soul to go other than through ascension; though it may take a long time for some. In this way all beings evolve naturally and to a common unifying goal.
Each step in our ascension is something that happens spontaneously, and usually as an event in time. As our vibration rises is will start to resonate with the higher frequency's and we get pulled up and raised into a different consciousness. Angels and deities aid these processes, and they can and often lead to quite profound and sudden changes. When we ascend we connect to a new grid of consciousness!
There is no firm agreement on what ascension actually means as it describes something that science has not yet understood. Science can not understand a process that is beyond its observable limitations, and therefore it is hard to say exactly what it is. Exquisite subject ... which in passing is not common for the common people ... to understand the possibility that we are energy and that our energy is associated with a body ... However, that body will cease to be in this sphere of physical life when it is ready for it ... every day I focus on the issue of energy ... there are people who don't understand it... I focus on the subject of positive and constructive thinking ... on the handling of my verb ... using language of peace ... that neither our thoughts are destructive nor that they generate violence ... that our verb is also the connection with that constructive thinking ... and that finally our actions are in strict congruence with what we think and say ... purity, from my perception, - I must note that my perception is the compendium of my philosophy of life, my traditions, my beliefs, my spirituality, my codes of action, my ethical and moral values, my prejudices if any. ... we reach it when we are able to make goodness, love, respect, tolerance and the practice of empathy the values that predominate and prevail in us even when we are in the most complex days ... in the days in which it is better to have peace than reason ... in the days in which whoever comes to give an opinion or make a judgment of values ... we are able to understand that it is only that ... his opinion ... his judgment ... I have managed to walk a path... full of many boulders... as we say in Agrology... even full of many stones and even rocks... the ones I could use to trace the path I used... the ones I couldn't move... I've looked for an option that won't become an obstacle... thus transforming adversity into an opportunity of life... Today... I am and am free from bondage... free from prejudice... of attachments... I am not attached to anything or anyone... I try to assume the giving and sharing as a practice of life and the most important or useful thing is that I am the one who composes the melody of the music in my life and I am the one who selects the colours with which I will paint my path ... and if there are more rocks ... I paint them in the colour I like the most ... I made a decision many years ago ... no doubt about it ... the most complex day of my life ...
I made a decision to be happy without depending on anything or anyone... it was a life decision... and I've kept it up for many years... from spirituality... which is my philosophy of life... I connect each and every day of my life and interact with the #pachamama... There is my essence of life... I connect with the Sun. The Moon, water, earth, air and fire...

I really like your summary here, I have a podcast called "The Ascension Cafe" only like 5 episodes in, but I still haven't actually done an episode specifically on Ascension haha, would love to have somebody on the show to talk about this sometime, maybe that somebody is you ;-)
