This is a quick overall of how I think π€ about HUSTLER type of burgers π
Let's start!
Take into consideration that this hole process does not take more than 3 minutes to stack (so, lots get prepared in advance). It's a very fast process that you need to have sequenced to make a very fast "still warm" burger, enjoying it to it's full potential.
Preparations/Ingredients
- Meat seasoned and shaped
- Bun sliced and if possible, pre-toasted (to your liking)
- Lettuce shredded
- Mayo and mustard next to you...
- 1.5 slice of bacon sliced in 2 inches sizes along with 2 slices of onion rings
- 2 moderate bites of blue cheese
- red/black/green peppers smashed with the side of a knife
Right... now it's for real...
The bun... that's probably the best part to start. You can even toast it a bit on the oven if you like. I like it crunchy from the outside, and fluffy from within. This one didn't had any of that treats... but sometimes I do that!
Then its the best time to lay down some juicy sticky stuff... mayo, or any kind of sticky sauce! I have used an olive oil made aioli mayo.
Then, the purpose of it is to stick some vegetables into it. Any kinds of it. Sometimes I try spinach... other times, lettuce, or even a mix of both and other herbs. Any leaf based stuff. At this point I sometimes season with some pepper. This time I didn't because I had reserved it for a later bigger dosage.
Then... in this case (but can be after the meat patty), I have stocked the lettuce with the blue cheese. Mostly because of the process in this case. I will drop something very hot on top of it, and that will slowly melt it. This is the strategy.
Continuing... I had prepared some bacon and onion rings, to the caramelized point. I have then dropped them on top of the blue cheese to start the melting process.
Then, as I have you told you before, I was preparing this burger for an intense pepper dosage. This is the moment I dropped some crushed peppers.
Then, have the meat patty (very hot) into the top of it, to enhance the melting process. This is a medium sized one. Probably double the size of the ones from the MacDonald ones. One day I will show you what I have done with meat patties! LOL I once did a 200 grams burger patty! That's like a stake! These ones are the usual 60-70 grams ones. Double of what MacDonald ones give you, 30-35 grams.
Before the top bun, do a 2 cm wide circle of american mustard, and that's it! The Joy!
I'm calling it the Blue Dream
It had some intense flavors of blue cheese.
Yeah... melt your heart with this... yes.... drool... drool more!
A slightly different angle... just to make you drool more!
That's it! Let's it it...
Hummmmm
Done... Nothing left! Sorry...
Go make yourself one! Tomorrow, I might not come along... so, enjoy this one for the time being.
a-ha! So that was the food that you were going to make! You should share the photo of the burger on @dbuzz! I mean, the one before you munched it all up π€£π
