My blooming babies

in Succulent growers2 years ago (edited)

Hi all,
These succulents i took in a southern beach in France, near Marseille, their flower was a medical remedy for cold in south africa, where the plant comes from, her seeds have traveled the whole Mediterranean sea to get to my house, much easier than people can do, sadly.

The official name is:

Mesembryantemaceae lampranthus coccineus

And these are the blooming flowers of my almost 8 years old aloe vera plants, they usually grow very high!

To get an idea of my succulents (only outdoors) with the youngest blooming aloe, you can see this picture, i will update if I get any new interesting flower!

Thanks for reading :)

Looking really nice. They almost look a lot like Aloe Vera!

They are aloe vera :)

Had no idea the flower like that!!! That threw me off. 😂😅

I didn't know too til they started blooming for the first time ;)

I had a similar one and it was always blooming. It also does not require much water or care so perfect.
