Greetings to all members of the succulent growers community.
Yesterday I had a chance to visit the garden center. Access to shopping centers is carried out by QR codes, so my husband could not keep me company, but stayed in the car to wait.
Despite the limited time, I managed to look at interesting types of succulents and cacti, as well as leave a decent amount of money in the store. :)
I have been waiting for supplies from Italy for a long time. The largest receipts are in winter, the plants probably tolerate the coolness better than the heat. I know this from my own experience. Last summer was very hot, many collectors suffered heavy losses in their collections.
I propose to move from words to deeds. Let's see what interesting things I was able to see.
A huge Kalanchoe caught my attention.
Among the large specimens, there were many interesting things in general. For example, plump fritia. It remains only to imagine how beautiful it will be in bloom.
Blooming fenestraria caught my eye. I wanted to buy to see the bloom, but I have two and I don't get along too well with them.
I expected to see huge lithops again, but I met only one pot with small specimens.
I was glad to see adromiscus red coral, but I also have it in my collection.
Faucarias were also presented in various sizes from a five centimeter pot to a huge bucket.
Pleased with the variety of species, even an experienced florist would find a plant to his liking. Various types of haworthia, gasteria, pachyphytum, euphorbia, conophytum, and of course cacti.
What interesting things can you find in your flower shops? :)
I can see why you left a decent amount of money with the store. These are gorgeous looking succulents.
