Blooming my Euphorbia Milii

in Succulent growers3 years ago (edited)

Euphorbia Milii is drought tolerant, so it does not need abundant watering.

In the summer, I water it once a week, less often 2 times only in very intense heat.

In winter I rarely water: about 2-3 times a month as the top layer of the soil dries up.

Overflow is dangerous for Euphorbia, as waterlogging of the soil leads to root rot.

In winter, it is advisable to keep Euphorbia at temperatures from +15 to + 18 ° C.

Euphorbia is not afraid of direct sunlight.
With a lack of lighting, the plant stretches out, and the leaves begin to fall off faster.

If your Euphorbia grows in a pot, then it is advisable to prune it
central stem to whatever height you like.

And in young shoots, pinch off the top at a height of approximately 10-15 cm.

This will encourage more lush flowering.

Beautiful flowers

Thank you very much!

It certainly looks like a healthy, happy plant! And it appears that you have quite a number of healthy plants in addition to this one.

My plants are toughening it out through the winter. I'm glad we're receiving more sunlight each day now. Some of my guys were beginning to look pretty sad. lol

Best wishes for Happiness, Health, and Prosperity in 2022!

Cheers!
