My Mammillaria spinosissima

in Succulent growers3 years ago

This is the first bloom of my Mammillaria, which is called Mammillaria spinosissima.

This Mammillaria is globular with thin and sharp spines.
The color of its spines is white or brown.
I have not seen this Mammillaria with brown spines, I would like to see one.

Mammillaria is one of the largest genera of cacti.

My Mammillaria bloom yearly and profusely. And I don't fertilize them.

In winter, during the dormant period, it is advisable to keep it at a temperature of + 7 ° C to + 10 ° C with very rare watering and
just wet the top layer of the earth.

Mammillaria needs a lot of light and needs direct sunlight.

The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
