Girlz and boyz, I didn't plan to do this post, but thanks to the kind invitation from @nikv, I am coming with my succulents' jungle. Not a real jungle, just one big stand (a table) full of pots with plants and on the other side of the balcony a few more... The Jade Tree, the Aeonium, and one Echeveria Pulvinata. The big Aloe Vera. The small ones like to live together, as you will see this mess of the table and all the branches of the succulents going where they want.
Hopefully, we will see something in this post, as the battery of my camera died after taking just a few photos!! Pffffffffff... so the first three shots are just those you should see, the rest - maybe skip seeing those phone photos. Anyway, as I am now in a super lack of time situation, I can't wait for the battery to be charged. I am in the middle of packing stuff that we will need for a month and a half, for our trip that will start very soon. Tomorrow early morning.
Still, as there is some news, this update on my plants is coming. @ewkaw, if you remember the plant we were talking about that we didn't know the exact name of it as it never had flowers, Echeveria Enigmaticus Variegaticus from this post... Well, now it bloomed!! That is the first photo, it has a single stem with small pale red flowers. They are still not fully open, but I will not be able to see all of them open. They will not bloom until tomorrow.
The second photo (and the third as well) shows a baby I got from you, it stagnated until now, but it got some fresh green branches recently. It looks a lot better now than it was some months ago.
Another one without a name. Well, for sure it has a name but I forgot it :(
This one neither had flowers until now but seems that it is growing two stems that will become buds and flowers. Or they are just new and longer branches, I am not sure. I will have to wait for a while to find it out.
What I don't like is that some of the leaves are sticky. It means something is having fun eating it but I dont see the nasty bugs, they are hiding very well.
One branch from the jungle of succulents...
The Ruby Blush plants are having a lot of flowers right now. The mother plant and also the plants that were born when the big one fell from the stand and broke, so I got a lot of "free" cuttings that day.
Ewkaw, here's the proof that the baby jelly plant was planted in a small glass jar:
Don't mind the next out-of-focus photo 😂
What is important is to see that two (oh, I have problems with counting now...) so that three stems are growing here and the flowers... once again, I will not be here to see them. Maybe my friend when will come to water the plants will be lucky to see them blooming. Until then, my plants are just saying to me that they will all be good and survive the summer without me.
There were singing me the song before you go...
See you "soon" my dear plants, hopefully all alive!
Well done! All looking healthy! Your final plant is adromischus and the reason for all those roots on the stem is because they survive on mist, not watering. Tell your friend to mist it, give very little water
Oh, thanks for that info, I was already wondering why it has those visible roots :))
Like ginger hair 😂
If you like, when you pass through VENICE, we can consider travelling together on the space shuttle... a HUGE hug to you all!
🤗
The Space Shuttle travellers 🤩
We're on the road, close to France now
Where do you plan to stop?
Tomorrow I will be in the office until 7pm, than free.
Wednesday I am free from 9:30 onwards....
The flowers from the Varigated one are lovely! Such a shame you wont be able to enjoy them.
Echeveria Runyonii 'Topsy Turvy' :) My one is growing two flower spikes too. They are pretty! But they can bloom few times a year, so maybe she will again when you get back.
Little Jelly looks great! And I really like your fuzzy one with all the flowers now.
Your one is growing two spikes too!! Then maybe I will see the flowers from you first :))
Yes, the tiny baby jelly is growing nicely ☀️
Haha, the fuzzy stays as the favourite one!! 😊
good plants, I've seen some of them. But some never I see it
Thanks @hattaarshavin :)
I have got many of them and also they are growing quickly 😊
Safe trip and fingers crossed for succulents to survive :D
Thanks :))
Already passed two bigger accidents :/
and we also had a minor thing, but all good just now we are going with a bit of delay.
The succulents showed last summer that they can survive 😉
You are on vacation, there is no rush! Hope the rest will go smoothly, road accidents are a really creepy thing. Adrenaline punch!
You have a well-assorted collection of succulents, enormous, I might say, if I compare it to mine, which consists of just one plant. I'm not a specialist, but I know they are very hardy plants and will certainly be waiting for you to return from your trip. What a trip, a month and a half! It seems unreal to me.
I wish you all the best and more than that. Have a nice vacation!
Yes, they will hopefully wait for me :))
I also started with just one plant, several years ago.
Thank you @bluemoon, I have vacation on summer (teacher) so I have to use that time 😁
Have e great summer you too ☀️
Thank you!
All my life I've envied teachers for their holidays! Now I don't do that anymore, because I'm retired.
Yes, we all need a great summer!
