I didn't know that the powder serves as protection from the sun, but it makes now a lot of sense. Btw, this plant of yours indeed has a strange shape, but it is interesting :)

I like them strange :) I will keep it as it is, maybe just plant it in bigger pot and straighten it up, and see when it goes.
Yes, leave it freedom :)
Reminds me, I have to do some work around my plants, as soon as possible.
Saw that nasty mini cotton-like thing in one of the succulents I got from you. Will do the "alcohol touch" treatment
I just did that yesterday.
You wont believe what I did. I chopped up and threw away the whole pot of those Kalanchoes I sent you :(
It was like 6 or 7 plants in it all about 80 cm tall. Heartbreaking... but.. they were so covered in aphids it was the only way. I saw some of the bugs on the flowers earlier, but now that I was cleaning all and checking the plants, it was all covered in them.
I got some cuttings, washed them and will start over. :( Damn...
Now I have a bunch of plants to repot and the season can start :)
Yea the alcohol will work. Just remove them with one of those ear cleaning sticks.
Ok, I did it today, after reading your response. Ear cleaning sticks with alcohol. I removed it easily and checked the other plants too. Nothing on the other ones, as far as I could see.
Oh no, you had to chop the long stems because of the aphids? 😞 Lucky bells? Poor plants... But the good cuttings will be planted and many new babies you will have :)))
Still, pity for the big plant. 😕
Cool! That should help. At least for a little while :p
Yea.. Lucky bells was not so lucky.
I threw away everything. The whole plant together with soil. Just kept some small cuttings that were the cleanest and will plant them in few days.
Almost the whole plant? Oh no :(
Indeed, not so lucky destiny of lucky bells.
I thought you would have many new plants from all of the cuttings. Hopefully, the few cuttings will do well, fingers crossed 🤞
