I didn't realize how much I love these types of succulents...
and epiphytes in general!
When I first discovered Easter cactus I was blown away by a white 'aster like' flower. Very different from the other more closely related two. There's only one left (and it might be Hatiora sp.) in my home. I can't seem to keep it happy, so maybe now I'll just treat it even more like an orchid!

Actually that reminds me I left one outdoors! I found it in discarded in a park in the summer and it has been thriving despite just being a rootball with no pot.

They do enjoy fresh air and the roots are mainly there to anchor the plant
