Mi Graptopetalum Paraguayense ya es mamá / My Graptopetalum Paraguayan is already a mom

I finally dared to reproduce my Succulent, it is already a Sucumom of two Sucubabies, well actually it already has three babies, because when they gave it to me it had a Sucubaby, which I hoped would grow and I gave it to a neighbor who really likes the plants, he is always aware of my publications on WhatsApp, it is that whenever I can, he took photos of my plants and I like to share them in WhatsApp states because I always receive comments from family or friends, thus creating a beautiful interaction, they are always pending them, of their progress, because my plants have their fans! jejeje XD.

La Suculenta que regale a mi vecina / The succulent that I gave to my neighbor.

I confess that it was not easy at all to make the decision to reproduce my Succulent, they had already told me that just by removing one of its leaves and placing it on top of the compost (black soil) it would grow from there, it sounded easy but I couldn't see myself removing one of its leaves, because I like it a lot and it's one of my favorites, I also had my doubts if it would work, because I remember once putting a leaf from a plant that I didn't know what it was, since it had only slipped into other plants that they gave me at that time, I did everything possible to make it happen and it did not grow, only the leaf withered and that plant never gave, so I already had that bad experience.

Well, in the end I decided, and I said to myself: I'm going to try it! So I carefully removed two leaves and placed them in the same container on each side of the mother plant, poured water on it, and after a few days I began to notice that they were already hitting.

I was very curious about how the process would be, because the leaves were quite long, so I wondered: what would that look like?, a small Succulent with a long leaf hehehe how strange! XD, so I was attentive in his process. After a few weeks the Succulents grew even more, but the difference in size with respect to the base leaf was still visible, for me it was very funny to see it like this hehehe some Sucubabies with a long leaf XD. Until the day came when I could see that one of the long leaves (base) dried up and only the Sucubaby was left. Wow! I was very surprised, I was able to confirm once again how perfect nature is and best of all, I was able to capture that moment through a photo to share it with you.

On the left side you can see what I mentioned before, that the leaf dried up and only the Sucubaby was left, while on the right side it had not yet dried completely. Seeing that they were already big and the container they were in was quite small, I decided to separate them, placing each one in a container (individually). For this, remove the Succulents from the container where they were.

Then I added black soil in the new containers that I arranged to sow them, I placed them in them. In the middle of the process, I removed three leaves from the mother plant (Sucumom) and placed them in the containers of the baby plants (Sucubabies).

Finally I watered them with a little water.

When people also told me before that just by cutting some plants and replanting their stem into the soil, it will reproduce. I would always be hesitant at first! But you definitely prove it wrong.

I also have a succulent like that growing here in our garden. I might try to follow your example and see if it will also reproduce!

Saludos 🙋🏻‍♀️.
