Months ago I made a mistake or as they say "I messed up", by placing my plants inside my house to protect them from insects that were affecting their development, at that time I did not think about the consequences that this decision could bring, it was at the time that I could notice that I did not make the right decision, since several symptoms appeared in them that ended up being even worse, I shared them in my previous post in this community See here.
The truth is that my plants were very affected, despite having been working on them during all this time, some of them I lost them completely, however there are two that are showing signs of life and that gives me hope.
My Graptopetalum Paraguayense is the third plant I had and I must say that it has resisted bravely having a beginner owner XD, but as they say "nobody is born learned", on the way I have been learning. I had had two Sucubabys, so I called them XD See here, but these two new plants did not resist this last mistake I made, so I decided to remove their small leaves and put them in soil to see if they prospered, I did the same with a leaf of the mother plant. Fortunately I saw signs of life in them, they have already been forming their roots and you can see in the following photos how the new Sucubabys are growing, the truth is that I was very surprised that these small leaves stuck so well, but I think they inherited that from the Succulent mother that from the first day has been a warrior!
A few days later I wanted to continue making improvements with the mother plant that has been a good companion, I remedied one of the things that I did not like, since it reminded me of my mistake, she elongated both in her leaves and in her stem, forming distant spaces between her leaves (this due to the lack of sunlight), she also had those scars on her leaves that was where the fungi were, this was not at all pleasant to my sight.
I decided to remove all the elongated leaves and left only the small leaves, the leaves that had the scars apart, the rest I placed them on the soil of the pots, then I made a cut in the stem, thus obtaining two parts of the same, each one I planted them; I had my doubts if it would work (the stem) but I had to try it, a few days later I saw how new shoots were forming on the stem and all the leaves stuck.
I thought my Ledebouria Socialis was lost, its leaves were quite deteriorated, but I decided to exhaust my last hope on it, so I cut it directly at the stem. After two days, I observed how a small green stem was peeping out (the stem of this plant is brown), this sign of life made me very excited and motivated me to continue insisting on it, until it recovered completely. It has been growing even more, although the truth is that its growth is quite slow, but I am still confident that it will continue to prosper.
Bendiciones.
I am glad to see that all was not lost, I have seen progress in these two plants, I have been remedying a little my mistake; I learned and it was very clear to me that the sun is essential for them. With the rest of the affected plants I am still working, the sun has helped me a lot these days, which I am grateful for because it was much needed, they have taken a long time to heal, but I trust they will make it, I hope it will be soon so I can continue sharing good news with you. Thanks for reading to the end!. See you next time!. Blessings.
