The Pier
Yesterday for my Wednesday Walk post I showed a more moody morning along the Boardwalk to show I do not always catch nice sunrises, so today I thought I would show some more colorful shots I have gotten from a couple of walks and focus on the piers.
Starting with this shot catching the fisherman silhouetted in the rising sun one of my favorite shots of recent walks there

On the same day and the same person fishing just at a different angle, I try to combine catching the sunrise, getting photos with getting some steps in, so unlike many who drive and park by the pier and enjoy the sunrise from one spot I am walking back and forth getting shots from different angles

I love my morning walks there when weather permits which hasn't happened for a few days with rain or thunderstorms, well according to the weather apps I use when I check when I wake up and decide whether to head out for a walk, and the last few days thats what they have been saying, but when I look out the window when the sun comes up it hasnt looked that bad so not sure I am trusting these apps to much.
I don't trust weather apps when predicting a few days in advance but I thought they could at least get it right for the next hour or so, lets hope for some better early mornings coming up so I can get some walks in, and hopefully not so that I bore you with too many shots of these piers

They are so different from yesterday's photos and so much more colourful than the sunrise photos in your last couple of posts.
The image with the clouds and the boat at the pier is my favourite, but I like the second shot a lot too because the little waves look like orange stripes - nice effect 👍

Those are beautiful shots! Makes me want to sit down and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Too bad I can't stand coffee! :) I can totally see why you enjoy venturing out and taking all of that in!

But I think the river as really contribute to the beauty,that is why I do say natural thing are so great and exciting and can never be compared with other things

you make it look so easy. My favorite is the one with the boat - because if you look quickly (or maybe its just me hahaa) it looked like a golden lightning strike going from the sky into the water.
These are the kind of shots that make me emotional. The world can be so terrible, but moments that you have captured remind me that it can also be so wonderful. tantalizing. remarkable. exquisite.
