Yes technically that's true, Ireland has split Nationality (Northern & Southern). Graphically (only) they are part of Great Britain (England, Scotland & Wales).

There is always a lot of confusions with these terms :-)
United kingdom contains England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Great Britain contains England, Scotland, and Wales
Republic of Ireland is Independent country.
Yes, it is mega confusing even to me (I'm English) LOL
Let's just say the "Republic of Ireland" is close to England geographically speaking 👍
