Hey there,
How cool you shared your story through this video. So, started with cassettes? Those were the times. My times too :) Although I used to record myself while playing another kind of music, classical, so was playing with this, hahha, not like a DJ, mostly served in my learning path to hear myself and give objective feedback how I did. Well, I was never satisfied π
Super you met the uncle of your friend, a treasure of CDs you got.
You did a great way to learn, a bit risky while going to that neighbourhood, but it was worth it!! Cool π
Blessed!
Yes those times were priceless, cassettes have so much history in our life, like on your case with playing instruments, that's super cool!
The person that teach me how to dj was god sent absolutely, it was like we wanted it so bad the it manifested on the way we was lease expecting, so I took the risk ππ. Until this day we still good friends and he still has all the records and cds from those times.
That is so good to hear, that you could develop your talent and passion! For sure, we don't forget our "teachers" and later, we become kind of friends. That happened to me too, and is still happening, having my students that become colleagues, so friends too :))
Sorry, for the late response, just missed a whole day of comments to respond to. See you around π
Absolutely the passion is everything, all my friends still do it until this day that's what's so beautiful about it and I really appreciate the support ππππ€ keep doing the good work!
