Here's my 69th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. ๐โ๏ธ๐ก๏ธ
After that disaster last week where I actually completely forgot to submit my battles I made sure to set an alarm this time round. โฐ๐คฃ Overkill? Perhaps. But it's better to be safe than sorry.
It's the โจ๐ โจGold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12โจ๐ โจ for the 52nd week in a row for me.
The table below shows my accumulated tally of battles in Fray 12 since I first took it up ๐. ๐๐๐

My percentage win rate tumbled even further after my huge mistake previously. It looks like it'll be awhile before I can go back over my personal target of > 60% again. I'll likely need a few weeks of better than average results to pull those percentages back up. ๐ญ
I've decided to wait 1 more week before purchasing any Gladius packs. The next brawl should bring me up to at least 4k MERITS to make a 2 pack purchase.
๐ค๐ป๐๐ค๐ป๐๐ค๐ป๐ Fingers crossed for a Gold Foil (Legendary!!!) I hope ๐คฃ๐ค for my future Gladius packs. (or any packs/rewards chest for that matter ๐)
As usual, I make an extra effort to rent โจGold Foil Chaos Legionโจ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.
Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me ๐๐๐ and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (๐คฃ yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)
Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. ๐ญ๐ค
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review and quick analysis of my battles ๐งโ๏ธ๐ก๏ธ, or in some cases where my opponent fled ๐๐ป๐จ - non battles ๐จ.

LOST.
I'd thought I already assembled a pretty strong team but my opponent managed to one up me. Well, it looks like 3 gold foil legendaries pretty much overpower 1 gold foil legendary. ๐ฑ Oh well. There's nothing much I could have done about this. I was simply outmatched in terms of available cards.
WON.
My choice of units and positioning was simply better. That and the fact that my Gladiator unit already got an opening kill to begin the BLOODLUST snowballing meant that there was only 1 possible outcome here. ๐
WON.
This was another dominant victory on my part. My Chimney Wallstop Gladiator card scored a few kills and pretty much became unstoppable. Even though he didn't survive the entire battle because of the POISON FUMES ruleset, he took out pretty much the entirety of the opponent's team. By the time poison mopped up everyone, My anti poison Forgotten One was still untouched and untested in battle.

2 WINS, 1 LOSS.
This round of results should make up for my previous ones slightly (I hope?). I'll wait till the next brawl report when I compute the numbers to see how much more I need to catch up to my own personal targets.
I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.
