I'm more surprised. The first time shocked me because I didn't see it as even a possibility. This time I expected the blue wave to stop him. I didn't realize so many still support him. Or just don't support a black woman, as I've been told racism is still a huge part of his support, racism that he woke up and made acceptable when Obama won. I logged onto FB for the first time in months and I see a bunch of posts from people who voted Trump saying basically "The left was playing up fear. He won't do any of the terrible things he promised to do. That was all talk. Grow up. That's why I voted for him".

I hope they are right. I hope he won't.

I was absolutely shocked the first time as well. It's funny because so many people complain about the "race" card being played. It's like they don't want to admit it is still a thing. In 2024, it absolutely shouldn't be a thing, but here we are. It's just sickening to think about.
