Así las cosas, casi una semana sin escribir ha sido dura y había ya ganas de volver a ponerme enfrente del teclado con un nuevo análisis de una carta del universo @splinterlands.

Back to the card itself, today I bring you Razorhound, a rare card with some very interesting special abilities In terms of design, we have a fox with big ears and a rather intimidating spear.
Siguiendo el lore del juego, la carta analizada esta semana pertenece a la raza de los Jackalans siendo una especie de cazadores y exploradores. La verdad es que si no te paras a leer de vez en cuando el lore que hay detrás de cada carta te estás perdiendo una de las mejores partes del juego. Te lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Volviendo a la carta analizada en sí, hoy te traigo a Razorhound, una carta rara con unas habilidades especiales más que interesantes. En cuanto a su diseño, tenemos un zorro de grandes orejas y armado con una lanza bastante intimidante, la verdad.
Razorhound is a rare card from the water deck and, therefore, one of the cards that I use the most in my battles and strategies just because it belongs to this water deck. At its initial level of evolution it already gives you two points of ranged attack, another two of speed, one of shield and also two of vitality in exchange for a summoning cost of five points of mana. Its statistics, to be honest, are modest and are not going to improve noticeably in its eight levels of improvement. What is interesting is his special abilities. At the beginning it provides Strengthen, at level 4 it provides True Strike and, finally, in its last improvement it adds Void.
Razorhound es una carta rara del mazo de agua y, por tanto, una de las cartas que más utilizo en mis batallas y estrategias solo por pertenecer a este mazo acuático. En su nivel inicial de evolución ya te aporta dos puntos de ataque a distancia, otros dos de velocidad, uno de escudo y también dos de vitalidad a cambio de un coste de invocación de cinco puntos de maná. Sus estadísticas, siendo sinceros, son modestas y no van a mejorar de manera ostensible en sus ocho niveles de mejora. Lo interesante son sus habilidades especiales. The battle has the following characteristics: 28 mana points available. The usable decks are those of water, life and death and, finally, as battle conditions we have Taking Sides and Going the Distance which, as you can imagine, decisively determine the strategy and alignment to be put into the fray.

I have placed Razorhound in the second position with the idea that it is one of the first to deal damage and protect, as far as possible, the cards that are going to come from behind, causing a little more damage overall. His presence was non-negotiable thanks to the Strengthen skill which, as you know, gives an additional point of health to his battle companions. Additionally, the presence of True Strike assures me that his attacks, I hope he does 1-2, do not miss and ensures damage to the target that receives his attacks. In short, a card that, as usual in rares, is not a finisher but an ideal complement in certain circumstances and that provides an extra Strengthen that cannot be ignored.
He colocado a Razorhound en la segunda posición con la idea de que sea de las primeras en hacer daño y proteger, en la medida de lo posible, a las cartas que van a venir por detrás causando algo más de daño en global. Su presencia era innegociable gracias a la habilida Strengthen que, como sabes, da un punto de salud adicional a sus compañeros de batalla. Además, la presencia de True Strike me asegura que sus ataques, espero que haga 1-2, no fallen y asegure el daño al objetivo que reciba sus ataques. En resumen, carta que, como es habitual en las raras, no es un finisher pero si un complemento ideal en determinadas circunstancias y que aporta un extra con Strengthen que no se puede obviar.
