Trip to La Llovizna National Park.
Recorrido al parque nacional la Llovizna.
Friends of #Hive today I bring you the memories of one of my favorite trips since I can remember, today I talk about my #tour to "La Llovizna National Park" a historical site in Venezuela that works in the city of Puerto Ordaz and is really huge, so big that after an afternoon of tour, interaction with tour guides, employees and members of the local indigenous tribe, it was not possible to tour the entire park due to its immensity and that not all areas are open for visit all the time.
This trip was made in 2014 when life had not yet taught me many things and I was focused on enjoying these moments without thinking that someday they would be just memories. When I went with my family we focused on seeing the animals running free in their proper extensions of the park, as this park is really huge it has natural divisions by rivers, forests and also by man-made roads, either by suspension bridges or by the flat rock roads that can be found.
The animals that I focused on the most were both the monkeys and the fish that this park houses because the monkeys have always seemed fascinating to me since I can remember and the fish because of a popular myth that exists among the people there that if you are interested one day I will do a post about it. But let me tell you that those monkeys although they look wild were very friendly with us.
Among the sections of the park we visited was the "tile island" where previously in the migratory season was filled with these birds, there are always tiles on the island but in their migratory seasons the locals say that there specifically the birds perch by hundreds and thousands. Although, of course, this is a spectacle that is observed from afar because during those days it is forbidden for tourists to enter the small island and it is necessary to go around other sectors to follow the tours.
For those who have never been and want to get an idea of the real size of the waterfall (since from where we were taking the picture was still far away and you can not appreciate the size of it, imagine a four-story building, now let's say that this building is almost half a kilometer long and that the roof jets of high-powered water that even at the great distance that we had from his fall, we received water spray and foam that left its strong whiplash with the ground.
This park has great stories that not everyone would sit and listen to and behind each name of its small islands, there are stories that many do not know, if you ever have the opportunity to visit this park remember this, the monkeys are very friendly, but do not neglect your backpack because you could end up seeing it at the top of the trees.
