This area reminds me of a spot in the US down in Ohio called Hocking Hills. It's a beautiful area with lots rock formations like this. Sad to see that homelessness continues to be a problem everywhere. I have to admit. I am impressed they lugged that mattress all the way down that trail, those things aren't light!

Downhill through the trail is better than uphill...
... but homelessness is really quite striking in Australia. I don't remember it being this bad a couple of decades ago... but I was younger, and maybe I just didn't see it. But I also get the impression that we lost our social democratic core values, and now it is winners and losers.
I feel the same way. I think hard times have come on a lot of people. I also think that during times like the depression community was more important so people lifted each other up. These days they just let them fall to the wayside.
