Avšak po sečtení hlasů z ankety a českého diskordu už jsem měl o pořadí fotografií jasno.

Sestavení itineráře dnešního výletu s ATW pak už byla příjemná práce s trochou pátrání na mapě světa.

However, after adding up the votes from the poll and the Czech discord, I was already clear about the order of the photos.

Putting together the itinerary for today's trip with ATW was then a pleasant job with a little searching on the world map.

Dnes nebudeme začínat v Praze, ale v Karlovarském kraji, ve městě Sokolov. Na malou procházku městem nás pozval @wahacoce. Jako pozvánku nám nabídl pohled na kostel sv. Jakuba Většího na Starém náměstí. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

Today we will not start in Prague, but in the Karlovy Vary region, in the town of Sokolov (Czech Republic). @wahacoce invited us for a short walk through the town. As an invitation, he offered us a view of the Church of St. James the Greater on the Old Square. The photo won third prize.

Z města rovnou do drsné ale krásné krajiny. @vaclavs nás pozval na Island. Jako zastávku výletu nám nabídl pohled na ikonickou horu Kirkjufell. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

From the town straight to the harsh but beautiful landscape. @vaclavs invited us to Iceland. As a stop on the trip, he offered us a view of the iconic mountain Kirkjufell. The photo won second prize.

Několik tisíc kilometrů jižněji leží v Atlantiku Azorské souostroví (Portugalsko). @xaviduran nás pozval na ostrov Sâo Miguel do města Riberia Grande, aby nám představil budovu místní radnice. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

A few thousand kilometers south in the Atlantic lies the Azores archipelago (Portugal). @xaviduran invited us to the island of Sâo Miguel in the city of Riberia Grande to show us the local town hall building. The photo won a prize for participating in the competition.

„Přelet“ přes půlku světa zvládneme jedním mrknutím. Zastavíme se v Sydney (NJW – Austrálie), kam nás pozval @new.things. Mrakodrapy na Barangaroo byly tím místem, kam pomyslně měly vystoupat ostatní soutěžní fotografie :-). Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

We can “fly” halfway around the world in one blink of an eye. We will stop in Sydney (NSW – Australia), where @new.things invited us. The skyscrapers on Barangaroo were the place where the other competition photos were supposed to ascend :-). The photo received a prize for participating in the competition.

Malý korálový ostrov Lady Elliot v Korálovém moři u břehů Queenslandu (Austrálie), jsme už v soutěži viděli na leteckém snímku. Dnes nás @vcclothing pozval na pěšinu vedoucí k laguně ostrova. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

We have already seen the small coral island of Lady Elliot in the Coral Sea off the coast of Queensland (Australia) in an aerial photo in the competition. Today @vcclothing invited us to a footpath leading to the island's lagoon. The photo received a prize for participating in the competition.

Z malého atolu se přesuneme severozápadně, na ostrov Coron. Ano, jsme na Filipínách. @gretelarmfeg tentokrát nevolila adrenalinový snímek ale pozvala nás obdivovat krásy Kayangan Lake. Fotografie získala první cenu.

From the small atoll we will move northwest, to the island of Coron. Yes, we are in the Philippines. This time @gretelarmfeg did not choose an adrenaline shot but invited us to admire the beauty of Kayangan Lake. The photo received first prize.

Pro mnohé z nás je Myanmar tajuplná země, která ukrývá mnoho přírodních pokladů. K jednomu přírodnímu klenotu nás pozval @ansoe. V lesích u Taw Kyal (Ywa Ngan Township) se ukrývá vodopád Blue Springs. Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce února.

For many of us, Myanmar is a mysterious country that hides many natural treasures. @ansoe invited us to one natural gem. In the forests near Taw Kyal (Ywa Ngan Township) lies the Blue Springs waterfall. The photo received a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of February.

A vracíme se do Evropy. @hairyfairy si udělal výlet do maďarského města Eger. Z fotografií, které v tomto městě pořídil, si pro nás jako pozvánku vybral pohled do kupole místní baziliky. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

And we're back in Europe. @hairyfairy took a trip to the Hungarian city of Eger. From the photos he took in this city, he chose a view of the dome of the local basilica as an invitation for us. The photo received a prize for participating in the competition.

Poslední zastávku si uděláme v bývalém věnném městě českých královen, v Mělníku. @actifit-godfish tu obdivoval hlavně řemeslný pivovar, ale jako pozvánku si vybral pohled od hradu k bájné hoře Říp. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

We'll make our last stop in the former dowry city of the Bohemian queens, in Mělník. @actifit-godfish mainly admired the craft brewery here, but as an invitation he chose the view from the castle to the legendary Mount Říp. The photo received a prize for participating in the competition.

Spokojeni? Myslím, že tento mix přírodních i architektonických zajímavostí je to, co dělá naši soutěž zajímavou. Uvidíme se na dalším nedělním výletu s ATW.
