It seemed sturdy enough, but safe??? I doubt you would find kids being openly allowed to climb something like that in the states or U.K.

Lol! Now that doesn't surprise me that mom wasn't happy, that's why they're called mom! And you are absolutely right you would not ever find something like that in the UK, the Health and Safety Executive would never greenlight something that looks like a lot of fun!
