Post #3 Sharing with you a few pics of our favorite holiday spot : Batukaru and its green hills

in TravelFeed3 years ago

Because we are leaving on the coastline we like to go on holidays in different landscapes. Lately we’ve been driving quite often to this good-looking place in central Bali called Batukaru.

To get to our favorite wooden villa , we got to drive carefully on a gravel road for about 30 minutes. The kids love it ! it gives them a great feeling of adventure !

The road goes through light green rice paddies and darker patches of tall trees. Time to time we must slow down to let a family of ducks cross the road. They hang out in rice paddies where they joyfully eat insects and weeds.

Once arrived at our destination, our days are filled with walks, good fresh food and lazy afternoons on the terrace of our villas.

My husband walking down the path from the reception to our villa. It is beautifully decorated with tropical flowers and plants.

Colorful Torch-ginger, standing straight and proud. The Balinese make a delicious sambal from this plant.

_ We had tuna with Torch ginger sambal about every lunch, tastes as delicious as it looks._

I hope you enjoy this post as much as we enjoy travelling to this place.

See you in the next post !

Hi @carobalibalo,
Great to see you posting to the TravelFeed community! We launched the #travelfeed curated tag more than 3 years ago and have been supporting the best travel blogs on Hive ever since. But did you know that TravelFeed has evolved? Based on the feedback of thousands of Hive travel bloggers we created TravelFeed.io.

TravelFeed.io brings together all the benefits of Hive decentralized blogging with features that you as a travel blogger will love: Photo galleries, Instagram embeds, custom maps, post scheduling and more. And if you want, you can even use our easy site builder to set up your own travel blog on your own domain which can be a great way to generate a passive income from your blog!

Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag and the TravelFeed Hive community. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.

We would love to see you on TravelFeed.io soon :)
