Hello friends of the Travelfeed community. We continue our tour of the local wonders of Aracaju, in the state of Sergipe, Brazil.
This time we visited the Mercado do Turista, a structure prepared to offer the best the city has to offer to tourists, all in one place.
The structure consists of a group of several small shops, usually specialized. There we found shopkeepers with:- leather goods- clay crafts- wooden crafts- clothing- beach items- travel souvenirs
The space is covered, and the shops open and close according to their own schedules. Some of them are air-conditioned, but some places can be very hot.
The things that caught my attention the most were the handicrafts made of clay. There were everything from real and decorative pots and pans to representations of the local culture, the orixás, black and Afro-descendant culture.
My shopping was done and we also stopped at local food stores, where we could find nuts, various fruits and also the famous cachaça, an alcoholic spirit of African origin that is widely consumed in Brazil.
We took everything we needed to make the famous Brazilian drink "Caipirinha".
Finally, there are still a few bars that can welcome visitors, although I recommend leaving the area towards the beachfront and choosing a bar with a view of the sea.
Olá amigos da comunidade Travelfeed. Seguimos com nossa ronda pelas maravilhas locais em Aracajú, estado de Sergipe, Brasil.
Nesta oportunidade visitamos o Mercado do Turista, que é uma estrutura preparada para entregar tudo que a cidade tem de melhor para o rurista, em um único local.
A estrutura consiste em uma reunião de diversa pequenas lojas, geralmente especializadas. Lá encontramos lojistas com:- artigos em couro- artesanatos em barro- artesanatos em madeira- confecções - artigos de praia- lembranças de viagem
O espaço é coberto, e as lojas abrem e fecham de acordo com seus próprios horários. Algumas delas são climatizadas, mas podem haver locais bem quentes.
As coisas que mais chamaram minha atenção foram as artes manuais em barro. Haviam desde potes e panelas reais e decorativos, até representações da cultura local, os orixás, a cultura negra e afrodescendente.
Minhas compras foram feitas e ainda passamos pelas lojas de gastronomia local, onde podemos achar castanhas, frutas diversas e também a famosa cachaça que é um destilado alcoólico de origem africana muito consumido no Brasil todos.
Levamos tudo que precisávamos para fazer o famoso drink brasileiro "Caipirinha".
Por fim ainda restam alguns bares que podem acolher os visitantes, apesar de que recomendo sair do ambiente em direção da orla da praia e escolher um bar com vistas para o mar.
