RE: Nuclear powered airplane hotel is a stupid idea

in TravelFeed3 years ago

I would give this a big miss as well as this does not sound like a fun filled trip. Planes are meant to get you from A to B and have no intention of living on one for an extended period of time. I look for the shortest fastest way when travelling as being tall you are always compromised somehow. Same would go for a nuclear sub hotel as you can shove that bad idea where it came from. Then again a structure underwater would most likely intrigue me enough to want to visit.

a nuclear powered sub hotel sounds like something out of a nightmare to me. I agree with your talk about how a plane is a method of getting somewhere. I would find the entire idea terrifying and even if the views were amazing, once you look at them a dozen times, what are you going to do now? Look out a different window? So much fun!

I couldn't agree more as I feel far safer with my feet on the ground than in the air. Not forgetting the cabin pressure and the effect sit has on your body. I read somewhere airline pilots don't have along retirement as many don't live that long compared to the rest of the population. Maybe it is absolute rubbish or there could be some truth somewhere I don't know.
