GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF THE LEUSER MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK 

Geographically, the location of the Leuser Mountain Nasional Park stretches at the coordinates 96º 35 "- 98º 30" East Longitude and 2º 50 "- 4º 10" North Latitude, and has topographical conditions ranging from coastal areas (0 masl) to mountainous areas (≥3000 masl). . Nearly 80% of the area has a slope of more than 40%.

Because the Leuser Mountain Nasional Park is flanked by two provinces, namely Aceh and North Sumatra, the current area of ​​the Leuser Mountain Nasional Park is 830,268.95 ha, which is 75.27% in Aceh province (624,913.81 ha) and 24.73% in pro-North Sumatra. (205,355.14 ha). FLORA AND FAUNA OF THE LIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK LEUSER 

If viewed in terms of the number of all types of plant animals, fungi, bacteria and organisms that live in it (biodiversity), the Leuser Mountain Nasional Park has an entire flora and fauna community that is closely related to the flora and fauna that exist in Peninsular Malaysia, Java, the island.
