Hello friend, today I come to share with you my visit to the "El Castrero" spa located in San Juan de los Morros, Guarico state - Venezuela, it is a magnificent place that from my experience I recommend.
Para llegar al balneario puedes ir en auto particular o en transporte público desde el centro de la ciudad dichos transporte se llaman "Perreras" acá en el pueblo tiene un valor aproximado de medio dólar ,el recorrido para llegar al río dura más o menos entre 15 a 20 minutos.Otro dato importante es que no cobran tickets de entrada es decir es totalmente gratis sin embargo las cabañas que poseen asador para cocinar si tienen un costo adicionales que sinceramente desconozco ya que no hay muchas autoridades cerca de la zona.
To get to the resort you can go by private car or by public transportation from the center of the city, these transports are called "Perreras" here in town and cost about half a dollar, the trip to get to the river takes about 15 to 20 minutes, another important fact is that they do not charge entrance tickets, that is, it is totally free, however, the cabins that have a grill for cooking do have an additional cost that I honestly do not know since there are not many authorities near the area.
En la entrada hay un letrero muy lindo y colorido con el nombre del balneario,unos metros más adelante está un pequeño algo viejo de madera,con columpio y un pequeño tobogán además a lo largo del río podemos encontrar algunas cabañas donde las personas pueden guardar sus cosas mientras se bañan en el rio o para comer cómodamente.
At the entrance there is a very nice and colorful sign with the name of the resort, a few meters ahead there is a small wooden something old, with a swing and a small slide also along the river we can find some cabins where people can store their things while bathing in the river or to eat comfortably.
Fui junto a mi amigos de la universidad apenas caminamos un poco para ver donde nos vendría mejor quedarnos y vimos este maravilloso pozo que nos cautivo por su belleza natural,el agua era muy limpia y bastante fría así que no dudamos ni un segundo y nos quedamos allí.
I went with my friends from the university, we just walked a little to see where we could stay and we saw this wonderful well that captivated us for its natural beauty, the water was very clean and quite cold so we did not hesitate for a second and we stayed there.
Cabe destacar que este balneario cuenta con un maravilloso clima de montaña y diversos pozos la mayoría de poca profundidad ( que por cierto el agua cristalina proviene del cerro llamado platillon)sin embargo existen otros que tienen caídas fuertes rodeados de piedras de gran tamaño que puede ser muy peligroso,de hecho lamentablemente en ese río han muerto varias personas por ahogamiento o por traumatismo con las piedras ya que se suelen lanzar desde muy alto y golpearse con superficies rocosas.
It should be noted that this resort has a wonderful mountain climate and several wells, most of them shallow (which by the way the crystal clear water comes from the hill called platillon), however there are others that have steep drops surrounded by large stones that can be very dangerous, in fact unfortunately several people have died in this river by drowning or trauma with the stones as they are usually thrown from very high and hit rocky surfaces.
Junto a mis amigos visitamos varios pozos y subimos muchas escaleras también para poder llegar a cada uno de ellos porque existe un pequeño caminito, también puedo decir que cada pozo tiene una temperatura diferente del agua alguna más frías y otras más tibias y calientitas,pero sin duda alguna todas demasiado refrescante.
Together with my friends we visited several wells and we also climbed many stairs to reach each of them because there is a small path, I can also say that each well has a different water temperature, some colder and others warmer and hotter, but without a doubt all too refreshing.
Fue demasiado divertido visitar este río y sé que lo he dicho un montón de veces pero el agua es verdaderamente deliciosa,si es por mi estuviera todo el día metida allí jaja,este río es muy lindo tiene mucho potencial pero desde mi perspectiva necesita que más cuidado por parte de los visitantes y sobre todo de las autoridades.
It was too much fun to visit this river and I know I have said it a lot of times but the water is really delicious, if it were up to me I would be there all day haha, this river is very nice it has a lot of potential but from my perspective it needs more care from the visitors and especially from the authorities.
Ese día habían muy pocas personas puede ser porque era día de semana y la mayoría está en sus trabajos habituales pero así con poca personas muchísimo mejor jajaja y para cerrar con broche de oro está visita alrededor de las 4 de la tarde cuando ya nos íbamos llegó un perrito con dueño y nado un ratico en el río creo que la había hecho anteriormente porque es muy bueno .
That day there were very few people maybe because it was a weekday and most of them are at their usual jobs but with few people it was much better hahaha and to close with a flourish this visit around 4 pm when we were leaving a little dog with owner arrived and swam for a while in the river I think he had done it before because he is very good.
