Gremyachevo is a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region of Russia. It is part of the Mardengsky rural settlement, where the center is the village of Annunciation. The distance to the village is only 4 km, but to the regional center it will already be about 20 km.
I have long wanted to explore this bush of villages that stand at a short distance from each other along the banks of the Sukhona River.
First, I drove into one called Yastreblevo, but for some reason turned around and went to another called Gremyachevo.
To be honest, I wouldn't go for a walk here either, if it weren't for nostalgia.
Once, in this place on the bank of the river, we rested in a large company with several families. Then I was at the very beginning of the photographic path.
And the film that I shot in this place has not survived...as well as the pictures.
It is impossible to go ashore now because of the high water level.
The village consists of half of the old part and the country houses.
It is strange that since 2002 there have been no permanent residents, although there are more than twenty houses here!
And of these only a couple are clearly abandoned.
I still wanted to come here at night in winter, but it seems to me that it will always be as boring as possible until these places are completely abandoned.
Moreover, I chose this village from the whole chain only because a small stream flows through it.
But even this did not save the situation - I was still not interested.
No, it's pretty cozy here...
It's all about my expectations: I thought I would feel some interesting atmosphere here.
But nothing happened.
And it’s not even about the country houses, it just didn’t go. This happens.
Apparently, I will study this bush sometime later.
